Beeston Summer Sizzler Programme comes to an end with a Bang!!

At the beginning of the summer period Beeston set out to have over 20 events over 12 weeks, and what a summer it has been for our table.

We started the campaign with a host of great events from Rock Climbing, Schools Out River Cruise, Rowing Practice, Curry Night, Games Night, Bike Ride Pub Crawl, Burley Horse Trials, Business Meetings, Dragon Boat Racing, Area Camping, Chairman’s BBQ, Splendor Music Festival, Day at the Races and of course NSW 2012.

The great thing about all these events, is how they have attracted new members and 18 enquiries on our website, membership is our key focus and the Nottingham Dragon Boat Race showed the way in how to promote Round Table in the community whilst having fun.

And in the next two weeks we have 4 more events to bring the summer programme to a climax, we have the 41 club Cluster meeting this Friday at the Novotel Long Eaton, our Table Bowling & Nando’s night on Monday 24th, the first Charter of the year at Swadlincote  on the 27th of September and, to finish off, we have a day at Welford Road to watch the mighty Leicester Tigers face the Exeter Chiefs on the 29th.

And the fun does not stop there for the Mighty Beeston Round Table, we are now entering into the great autumn and winter campaign,  so watch this space and see how Beeston moves on to its next challenges.

One thing that we can confirm now is that our 55th Charter Night on the 2nd of November will be better than ever!!

C’mon the Mighty Beeston!!!
