Derby Merlin cycles for charity

Briming with confidence at the 6am start point

New Tabler Mark Bailey (Merlin 998) successfully completed a 93.6 miles bicycle ride from Ilkeston to sunny Skegness on Saturday August 11th. It took him just 6 hours, 29 minutes and 45 seconds ! He left home at 6am and is now waiting to provide a sample for Skegness Doping Control. The saddle will be surgically removed later this week.

Mark’s magnificent effort will provide needed funds for the Baby Unit at the Derby City Hospital, via the Derby Hospitals Charitable Trust. Mark has already done a great deal with regard to raising nearly £600 in sponsorship to date. If you want to add to the money Mark has already raised, please click on this link BikerBailey and make a generous contribution.
